6. Kaleng Boy (Boinas)
The traditional game of Kaleng Boy (Boinas) is played by throwing the can until it falls
and then rearranging the can while dodging the opponent's ball so that it does not hit the
body.
The group will be divided into two groups, each with the same number of members.
Groups are usually divided by lottery hom pim paa alaium gambreng or by mutually
selecting each other's members. The group that wins in a suit will be the group of
enemies who will tear down the array of cans using the ball. Meanwhile, the losing
group will be transformed into the guard group. After the can array is destroyed for the
first time, the guard group will pick up the ball and throw it at the members of the
enemy group.
Members of the guard group are only allowed to pass each other's balls or throw them
directly at the enemy group, and they are not allowed to move after receiving the ball.
Except for the head, toes, and knees, the ball is thrown throughout the body. Enemy
groups will try to avoid throwing the ball by running, jumping, or making other
movements while rearranging the cans in the original order. If the ball strikes an enemy
group's body part, each group will change positions. The enemy group will transform
into the guard group, and the guard group will transform into the enemy group. The
enemy group will try to arrange the cans without being hit by the guard group's ball. If
the opposing group arranges a can without being hit by a ball throw, it receives one
point and is declared the winner. The game will continue until each group has produced
their respective score. If there is an agreement to end the game, it will be ended.
The moral of this game is that cooperation is essential if we are to succeed.
